I just wanted to say thanks, you probably don't care but you pointed out a lot of flaws that needed to be fixed and they will be and with every character. I get it, you are just being harsh but in the end you did give a lot of valid points.
I was stupid and you know, got butthurt, but none of that matters now! They are old characters, the stories were crap and a lot of it, didn't make any braying sense. If you guys were to you know tone it down with insulting the artist maybe you would make a bigger impact on us as a whole and make us realize how stupid some of these characters really are.
This is the first time I was harshly reviewed so I didn't take it kindly, but thanks man. I will be changing if not all of their stories and designs to make it fit into the creepy pasta fandom. I am sorry for all of this stupid bullcrap people are spewing at you, it is partially my fault, there's no such thing as "bad publicity"

Your logic is broken beyond belief. First of all, they're critics. IT'S WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. Also, they do have a life. People with "no life" have no friends, fail to interact with anyone other than themselfs and are just generally unable to do anything with others.

That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. The only people who want this blog down are the morons who don't understand criticism. People who think everyone should be praised for everything they do even if it's crap, a little exercise for everyone who thinks this way. Imagine all the T.V. shows and movies that were so terrible, they basically disappeared from the face of the planet, now imagine if everyone 'said' those things were amazing. So now, instead of terrible ideas dying out and fading away, developers would see how well it's doing and make a similar movie... thus continuing the udder garbage that the last was. People who draw won't get better if you tell them everything they do is perfect because they won't see need for improvement. Criticism is good.

If they WANT to have their OCs reviewed, they should have asked for it. But, they don't want them to be reviewed because sometimes they'll look back on it and remake them to make them look better.
But these guys chose to bash OCs for the fun of it and make the artists feel bad and quit the fandom they really love. You have no idea what's it like to have OCs get bashed. You have NO idea, Anon.

It's pointless, what's done is done, I braying moved on.. and you know, WhyFags; thanks for stating all of the flaws my characters had..they were pretty old and they do need to be revamped; which I am now..so I'm thanking you guys (could have been a bit nicer, but you know people are arseholes now a days so I will just have to deal with it)
No crap I was hurt in the beginning, would you not be if you were in MY shoes? Saying I can't draw (because I'm actually not crazy good at realism and that's not going to change so that doesn't phase me!) These characters were rushed and poorly done..nor am I crazy about grammar because you know people have flaws and strong points (if you didn't know that well I question your logic)
I never wanted all of this stupid crap, and I am sure posting this I will end up getting hate replies but you know.. bray YOU I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF BULLcrap YOU HAVE TO THROW AT MY FACE, I ALREADY HAVE HAD ENOUGH!! SPARE YOUR BREATH, BECAUSE YOUR OPINION DOESN'T MATTER TO ME!!

Haha, I wasn't so accepting at first (mainly due to all the hate towards me and the bad mouthing) resulting in me being butthurt... but in the end they did have very valid points and finally getting over all that negativity and focusing on improving my characters to better not only myself but even the characters I create in the future!
so thank you, also for being one of the most considerate person on here...from my eyes are viewing all of this hate, god damn it really saddens me to see how low people get against one another..
but, it's time for me to retire from this site.

The arsehole lowlifes of Whyfags have no right to review people's OCs without even asking them in the first place. If they want their OCs to be reviewed, they would ASK for it. But, someday they would look back on their OC and would remake it to make them look better. So really, they don't need from arseholes like the Whyfags cast.

The thing about these guys are that they're somehow right. Really, people if you're going to get mad at them because they're criticizing a creepy pasta OC. Don't even try. Sure you guys got mad for them making fun of others' OCs. But really. "CRITICIZING" in some critiques, you just HAD to be rude and point out things. The thing here, is that they're at least being humorous at some point. Also making the others' stories logical.
EVEN THIS HELPED ME WITH WRITING CREEPY PASTA STORIES. Funny thing. They at least helped me realize, that some crap people add aren't even braying necessary. ALL YOU NEED IS A STORY. AND A brayING STORY BASED PICTURE. DONE. Also psychic powers and such. No. This helped me realize, that the stories I have written are crappy. I'll admit. And for the others' who got their OCs criticized. Just take the demn advice. DO NOT brayING TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. Yours may not have been complimented. Cause if you're just looking for compliments. People on here lack grammar and proper spelling. I lost several IQ points just to read half of these comments. First of all, if you don't like this blog, then leave. How braying hard is it to simply click away from this blog page and carry on with your merry ways?! Do you guys literally look up this blog, see their "de-grading" post of actually horrible OCs / CPs? Do you guys overlook the CONSTRUCTIVE (note: HELPFUL) criticism that they type at the end of every post?! Also, don't give me the "Oh, well, have you tried to make an OC / CP? I bet you haven't.", because I actually have made both, and they're well-made, since I have a difficult time making a joke Mary Sue. I just haven't made a full background story for them since I'm busy and I don't have enough ideas to make a full, well thought, good background story for each of them. I may be coming off as a perfect, righteous wench who thinks she's better than everyone else but really just needs to come off of her high and mighty horse. That's not true, though, as I'm only here to point out the oblivious facts that are no doubt on here. I don't care if I'm going to get yelled at across the internet, because that tells me you hate the truth that's been handed to you on a platinum braying platter of the internet. Holy crap, tick off a half-arsed writer/"artist" and his/her teenage fans will come bawwing and screaming like an horde of retarded orcs.
These characters are crap. The idea of creepypasta, was to create scary stories; not writing the Twilight of horror fiction. Think of all the great monsters in horror. From Pennywise, to Hannibal Lecter, Nosteratu, Pyramid Head, the Cenobites or even Godzilla, Cthulhu and Cloverfield. All of them are supposed to evoke a feeling of dread, of feeling helpless and cornered by an unnatural intelligence or presence.
These OCs are not scary at all. They are power fantasies, stupid Mary Sues from teenager kids who think gore is the crap. Kids who feel bad because daddy doesn't let them get at tattoo, dress in black leather or do some heavy make-up. Stupid teenagers going through the "angst is kawaii" phase...
Again, look at that Jeff the Killer loser... he's pretty much Sasuke Uchiha looking like the unholy lovechild of Jack Skellington and L from Death Note.
Get this crap straight... Jeff the Killer is the worst thing that ever happened to creepypasta. You're a lousy writer or creator if your idea is going for a character that looks like your average anime recolor, behaves like the military squirrel from Happy Tree Friends, and has a retarded name related to violence or a mental condition. Jeez, kids... if you want to express your angst and mental problems killing something... go play a rogue in World of Warcraft, go full berserk in Call of Duty or something like that. But stop clogging the internet with unoriginal, Mary Sue projections of how you think you look like inside and how much do you want the world to suffer because "you're depressed and somehow, life has been unfair to you".
You're not the next Tim Burton, Stephen King or Takashi Miike.
You end up looking like idiots such as Rob Liefeld, that wench from Twilight, Nickolaus Pacione or those morons who make Crossed.

Look at all the beautiful butt hurt~
I have a character I created in relation to creepypasta.
I know what is good about him, and I know all of the flaws in both story and design.
If it were reviewed poorly here, I may be disheartened at first, but I would not act like a fool and yell at the people who run this blog.
Actually, I would be glad that flaws that I had missed would have been relieved to me so I could improve my character/story.
As an artist you must learn to handle praise, hate, and constructive criticism.
I love constructive criticism.
People may put their heart and soul into a creation but that does not make it a master piece, that does not even necessarily mean it is any good at all.
I think everyone in the comment section needs to calm themselves and act a bit more maturely rather than yelling at everyone you speak with.
I found this blog today. At first I wasn't sure I would like it for the reasons most are offended.
However those who run the blog make valid points and are not simply bashing things.
If I used blogspot I would follow these guys, or whatever it is you do here.

You guys show some good points, BUT- a LOT of people put all the creepypastas together into one huge group. There are many people who have made comics, pictures, stories, everything. I think it's okay to put them all together into one, but hey, that's my opinion. I'm not going to try to argue with anyone about it. I also think it's okay to make a CP OC, but again, my opinion. Keep up the good work guys!

Dude, holy crap, it took me an hour to read this whole thing. Of course I stopped and tried reading the comments but I gave up around the fifth white knight. Anyhow I was surprised to see there was not one redeemable OC, usually when I read these rants and cluster reviews you find at least one that gets a C, or a B. All I see are characters that clearly have no understanding of what It means to be horrifying. No disrespect to the authors but how is it suppose to be scary. These characters have potential but their flaw = They live in the shadow of the classics. They can't survive on their own.

Whoa, so many hate comments. Why don't you just take this as a lesson to improve making CP OCs? It's a critique after all (a rather harsh one if you ask me, but still funny and hilarious). Well, at least these guys are being honest (rather than saying good thing in front and bad thing in back)

Alright so lemme give my brief essay on why Creepypasta fancharacters will never be good.
A horror (and by extension, creepypasta) villain is scary because you don't know what the bray they are, what they're capable of, or why they do their spooky stuff. A fancharacter is like the antithesis of that, because the story is always /about the character/ instead of actually being scary. Usually these stories fall more under "body horror" or "torture porn" which isn't actually scaring anyone, just making them uncomfortable and maybe causing them to lose their appetite.
Short version: A story about how a spooky kid had a spooky childhood and then died in some spooky woods in a spooky way only to be resurrected as a spooky demon? It isn't actually spooky.

I can see the things you linked, and I want to confirm that it is in fact terrible. There's nothing I can say about the character that Danny didn't already clearly elaborate on in the body of the above post.
In particular, incorporating as many Creepypastas into your OC as possible is a bad idea. In fact, as mentioned in this post, just don't incorporate ANY existing creepypastas into your OC. It's stupid.
